Welcome to Southern Illlinois (Region 5)

Region 5 represents the southernmost part of Illinois, encompassing the counties of Madison, Bond, Fayette, Clay, Jasper, Crawford, Lawrence, Richland, Edwards, Wabash, Wayne, Marion, Clinton, St. Clair, Monroe, Randolph, Washington, Jefferson, Perry, Jackson, Franklin, Hamilton, White, Williamson, Saline, Union, Johnson, Pope, Hardin, Alexander, Pulaski, Massac, and Gallatin.

At the heart of this region is Take Action Today (TAT), a dedicated organization based in West Frankfort, leading efforts to empower communities to overcome substance challenges.  Region 5 is committed to providing support, resources, and hope for those impacted by substance use.

• Take Action Today: Fostering Recovery in Southern Illinois: Take Action Today (TAT) is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization that passionately advocates for the recovery community in Southern Illinois. Their initiatives include the Recovery Resource Center Initiative, establishing community centers, and fostering recovery community organizations through their CoRe program.
